The ship rattles at the same time, a tentacle slamming across the exterior hard enough to send them rocking and nearly knocking Magnus off-balance. Then, some of the wood starts to give out as water spills in through the cracks.

"I'd hate to pressure you, but the ship isn't going to last. I can open a portal to transport us all to a steadier ship, but you'll need to grab the artifact quickly."
